Moocraft is back !

Hello, my dear moocraftees! I know, moocraft is a little late, as I promised to be back on the 9th, but I was mending a broken heart, so, I couldn’t have update moocraft as soon as promised…Afterall, behind this username and password, there’s a human being with feelings…Haha,that is my belief when I am dealing with business and people online…Hope you guys understand…but no matter what, all’s well now~ and what’s important, I’ve got new crafts to show you guys… ^^ hope you’ll like them…

Haha, till here for this time, more products are coming soon. As for now, I’ll be working on Crenie’s Elmo pouch, and soon, another great news~~ Moocraft is crossing the border!!! Moocraft has got its first Aussie moocraftee! Stay with moocraft ya…

A much needed break…

My dear moocraftees,

Starting tomorrow (25th June ‘10) and for the following two weeks, moocraft will be going on a break~

Don’t worry, it is not gone for ever, it is just going to take some time off, to gain new perspectives… =)

Why break, and why now? Well, here comes a short trip down the memory lane…Follow me, will ya? Moocraft started when I made some handcraft pouches to some of my dear friends, when I’ve ran out of idea of what to buy for them…So, one thing leads to another, someone suggested the crazy idea to me, of selling some of my work. And before I know it (well, okay, I DO KNOW it is coming), moocraft is born~ my little baby is here…

A the beginning, it was about me selling what I’ve produced, and soon, more custom orders came in, which is a great thing, don’t get me wrong, (You guys are my muse, my inspiration!) but at the same time, so many great ideas pop up into my mind as well. However, with the existing custom order at hands, I don’t get much time to make them, and sometimes, it frustrates me with the fact that I could have shown you guys more than just these, I should be showing you guys those ideas that is constantly streaming in my head… Such as a simple canvas bag with a hint of quirkiness, a fun yet practical combination of handphone pouch & wallet, and so much more… I wish to show you guys so many new ideas and new stuff…So I’ve made this sound decision.

From 25th June to 9th July, moocraft will be going on a ‘vacation’, to get fresh ideas, and buy myself some time to make these ideas come true~ I promise, when I am back, I’ll give you the sweetest surprise! ^^

Leaving town for a couple days, and sew-less days await~

ps : don’t worry, orders taken and confirmed as seen on the “Join the Club” list will still be processed, it’s just that moocraft wouldn’t take new orders during this two weeks…Please don’t give up on moocraft just yet~ ^^

I’ll see you guys in two weeks time, it’ll be here before you know it! I’ll miss ya~

A sneaky peek~

Here’s a sneak peak at a custom book cover that I’ve just finished just now ! Haha, this piece is really tricky, since I don’t have much experience with book cover before…But, I am glad it turned out right, but I am exhausted…So, I’ll leak some short preview for you guys first, more beautiful pictures and details on this book cover tomorrow~ Stay tuned, promise?

Moocraft’s very own packaging~

After several days of brainstorming and trial&error, I’ve finally come up with a packaging design that I like~ It is nothing extravagant, or of fancy material, but it is very sleek and simple… And I’ve try to cut down on unnecessary use of materials, after all, we need to do our part in reducing waste and protect our mother Earth~

 

The brown paper bag can be easily recycled if you decided to discard it ~

Every moocraftee ( my term for calling the lovely moocraft’s readers & customers, haha ) from now on will receive their items wrapped in one of these~

“Signed, sealed, delivered, I’m yours!”

Moocraft is a firm believer in making things better for the Earth, that is why the materials used is as eco-friendly as possible, it might not be much, but it’s good enough to make a difference~ ^^ cheers~
